    Operating Information ： 

    1 . Remove the protective cap. 

    2 . Turn the meter on by pressing the ON key. 

    3 . Place the probe to the desired depth and saturate the soil if needed with deionized water. Or immerse the electrode in the solution to be tested. 

    4 . Waiting for the reading to stabilize. 

    5 . Press the "MODE" key, choice what measure you requirement.(In 

    turn show "EC" "CF" "ppm" on the display) 

    6 . Press the "HOLD" key, the reading is be kept. When repeat measuring, please press the "HOLD" key again,it automatically relieves the hold condition. 

    7 . After use, turn the meter off by pressing the OFF key. Rinse the electrode with distilled water to minimize contamination. 

    8 . Always replace the protective cap after use. 

    Calibration： 

    1.Turn on the meter. Press the "MODE" key. 

    2.Immerse the meter in 12880 s/cm(12.88EC) calibration solution. 

    3.Unscrew the battery compartment cap on the top of the meter. 

    4.Allow the reading to stabilize and with a small screwdriver turn the calibration trimmer until the display shows "12.88EC ".Rinse the electrode with distilled water and suck it with tissue paper. 

    5.Immerse the electroder in 1413 s/cm(1.41EC) calibration solution. gently shake it and wait for a stable display. The showing value and buffer solution's value is within error range.The calibration is now complete.
