How to Calibrate the PH Meter?

Take ph 6.86 standard solution calibration as an example:

1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the meter, and then press MODE/CAL button adjust the tester to pH mode;

2. Put the electrode into pH 6.86 standard solution, waiting for the readings to stabilize (usually 5~10 Seconds);

3. Press and hold the MODE/CAL button and release after 6 seconds;

4. Until the readings of pH 6.86 is no longer flashing, the calibration of pH 6.86 is completed;

5. Repeat the above steps if you need to calibrate pH 4.00 or pH 9.18.

How to make a standard solution?

Take ph 6.86 standard solution as an example:

1. Add the pH 6.86 buffer powder into beaker with 250ml of distilled water;

2. Stir until the powder has completely dissolved, then pH 6.86 standard solution is completed;

3. Repeat the above steps if you need to make other standard solutions.

How to use the pH meter?

1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the unit, and then press MODE/CAL button adjust the tester to pH mode;

2. Dip the electrode in the target solution, making sure the whole electrode is submerged;

3. Wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize, and the LCD screen will display both temperature and PH value.

4. Dry the electrode with a cloth after use.
